The GWPCA Breeder/Kennel Directory is a form of classified advertising where members of the GWPCA can pay a fee for an annual listing in the directory. The Breeder/Kennel Directory is for GWPCA members who have acknowledged the GWPCA Code of Ethics and is published as a service to club members and interested members of the public who wish to investigate owning a German Wirehaired Pointer. If you are a GWPCA member and would like to be included on the breeder listing complete the Breeder Application Form. The breeder directory runs January to January but listings are added and updated throughout the year.

The GWPCA recommends that all breeding dogs complete recommended health screenings to obtain a CHIC number through OFA. For GWPs, the recommended health tests are: hips, elbows, eyes, cardiac (heart), thyroid, and optional vWD.
